The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde
My rating: 0 of 5 stars
Getting lost in the wads and wads of verbose prose describing beauty at it's purest form is somewhat of a trance indeed. Wilde's story about a relatively modern narcissus conjures up strange images and indeed looks like it condones the satanist conspiracy theories of selling the soul to the devil. A delightful read made possible by Wilde's phenomenal mastery of the English language.
